(Vietnam.vn) Article 4 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the role of the Communist Party of Vietnam: “The Communist Party of Vietnam, the vanguard of the working class of Vietnam, the delegate faithful to the interests of the working class, the working people and the whole nation, following Marxism-Leninism and the Ho Chi Minh Thought, is the leading force of the State and the society. All the Party’s organizations operate within the framework of the Constitution and the law”.

(Vietnam.vn) The beautiful land of Vietnam lies in the longitude from 102°09’ to 109°30’ and the latitude from 8°10’ to 123°24’. The total land area is 331,698 square kilometers. The distance (as the crow flies) between the northernmost point and southernmost point is 1,650km. The maximal distance between East and West is 600km (in the North) and the minimal distance is 50 km (Quảng Bình – the Central part).

(Vietnam.vn) Annual average rainfall in Hanoi is 1,763 mm; in Huế, 2,867 mm; in Ho Chi Minh City, 1,910 mm. Average humidity is over 80%, even 90% in the rainy season and during the drizzly season. Vietnam has four main climatic regions: the Northern climate, the Southern climate, the Central and the Southern Central climate and the South China Sea climate. The Northern climatic region comprises the northern territory of the Hoành Sơn mountain range. This region has the tropical monsoon with four clear-cut seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter.
