As the founding Chairwoman of the Cuban Committee for Solidarity with South Viet Nam, revolutionary heroine Melba Hernández brought together Cuba’s political organizations, mass organizations, government agencies, and ministries, helping spread support for Viet Nam throughout Cuban society and onto the international stage.
