Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain Pedro Sánchez is paying an official visit to Viet Nam from April 8-10 at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Viet Nam and Spain established diplomatic relations on May 23, 1977. Over the past nearly 50 years, the bilateral relationship has grown intensively and comprehensively.
The adoption of the joint statement on the establishment of a strategic partnership between the two nations during this visit marks a historic milestone, laying a foundation for further strengthening bilateral relations in the coming time.
Alexander Eniline, Chairman of the Swiss Party of Labour, expressed his delight at Viet Nam's achievements in building socialism and voiced his confidence that the Southeast Asian nation will attain even greater success in the future.
