Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain Pedro Sánchez is paying an official visit to Viet Nam from April 8-10 at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Viet Nam and Spain established diplomatic relations on May 23, 1977. Over the past nearly 50 years, the bilateral relationship has grown intensively and comprehensively.
President Cuong emphasised that every victory in the past struggle for national liberation as well as in the current cause of building and defending the Fatherland of Viet Nam has seen the valuable support, wholehearted, righteous and effective assistance of the Party, State and people of the Lao ethnic groups, and expressed the deep gratitude of the Vietnamese Party, State and people to their Lao counterparts.
National unity and pride, sound leadership, and patriotism will continue to propel Viet Nam forward into a new era - the era of national rise, said former Cuban Ambassador to Viet Nam and Vice President of the Cuba–Viet Nam Friendship Association Fredesmán Turró González.
