At the reception, President of the Viet Nam-Myanmar Friendship Association Chu Cong Phung said that the Viet Nam-Myanmar Friendship Association was established in 2014 and has maintained close ties with the Myanmar Embassy in Viet Nam and the Myanmar-Viet Nam Friendship Association. Over the past decade, the Association has organized numerous exchange activities and provided support to the people of Myanmar, especially during difficult times caused by natural disasters and pandemics. It has also actively encouraged Vietnamese enterprises, particularly those in agriculture, fisheries, and livestock, to explore cooperation opportunities in Myanmar, and has helped connect Vietnamese businesses with Myanmar partners.
Recently, when the Myanmar Embassy in Viet Nam introduced a source of yellow maize for export, the Association promptly shared the information with interested Vietnamese enterprises.
