Specifically, labourers currently working in companies at industrial parks, export processing zones or key economic regions will receive 500,000 VND (21.86 USD) per month in a maximum of three months.
They are required to rent housing from February 1 to June 30, have an indefinite-term labour contract or a definite-term labour contract of at least 1 month before April 1, participate in compulsory social insurance in the month preceding the time when the enterprise makes a list of employees requesting housing rent support.
In case the employees do not join compulsory social insurance, they must be named in the company’s payroll in the month prior to the time when it makes the request.
For those returning to the labour market, the new policy will provide them with 1 million VND per month each in a maximum of three months.
To receive the aid, they must rent houses from April 1 to June 30, and meet all requirements as mentioned above./.
