In order to more widely promote Vietnamese culture, cuisine and people, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Hanoi held the Vietnam Day in the capital Baku.
The event titled "Vietnam Day: A History of Friendship" recently took place in Baku in July, on the 64th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh 's visit to Azerbaijan.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Hanoi cooperated with Vietnamese businesses to organize the festival at one of the most famous shopping centers in Baku - Sharg Bazari.
The event brought interesting information to many Azerbaijanis about the country, culture, cuisine, tourism, and traditions of Vietnam.

This festival is held on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to Baku (July 21-23, 1959) and the 40th anniversary of Azerbaijani leader Heydar Aliyev's arrival in Vietnam as head of the Soviet delegation, in order to assist Vietnam in strengthening its independence and economic development.
The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Hanoi hopes that the visit of Vietnamese companies to Azerbaijan will contribute to promoting joint cooperation projects in tourism and cuisine to promote two-way tourist arrivals.
During the event, festival participants tried Vietnamese products such as conical hats, ao dai, coffee, and tea. The event also introduced traditional Vietnamese dishes to the people of Azerbaijan such as Pho, fried spring rolls, grilled chicken, and fried rice.
Besides, the guests also had the opportunity to enjoy the most popular Vietnamese songs performed by young singer Sevinch Orujova from Ho Chi Minh City.
