At their talks after the welcome ceremony, PM Phankham Viphavanh and PM Pham Minh Chinh reaffirmed their countries’ consistent policies of always attaching importance and top priority to the bilateral great relationship. They also discussed measure to further boost the two sides’ cooperation in the coming time.
The two leaders then held a press conference and launched the Solidarity and Friendship Year between the two countries.
On January 8, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue received PM Phankham Viphavanh.
At the receptions, both the hosts and guest expressed their satisfaction over the development of bilateral cooperation over the recent time despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
They shared the view that both sides must foster closer coordination and come up with breakthrough measures to enhance their cooperation’s effectiveness./.
