The camp was participated by 235 students and teachers from seven countries, namely Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, India, Japan, and Vietnam. This annual activity is organized by the Association to Learn English for Integration in ASEAN countries (AEISA) to strengthen the relationship among countries.
At the same time, the event is an opportunity for students and teachers from countries in the region to meet, exchange knowledge in teaching and learning, and create a forum to strengthen cooperation and friendship among students from ASEAN countries.

At the opening ceremony held on the morning of July 24, students from ASEAN countries have the opportunity to enjoy performances imbued with the Vietnamese identity performed by students of Nguyen Hue High School - Hue, demonstrating the careful preparation of the camp organizer.
According to Nguyen Tan, Director of the Thua Thien Hue Department of Education and Training, this is an opportunity for students and teachers from ASEAN countries to learn numerous skills and knowledge, exchange cultural values with international friends, and improve their English communication skills.
At the camp, teachers and students from ASEAN countries will jointly participate in a series of attractive and entertaining activities in Hue, including enjoying Hue cuisine, learning Hue's traditional crafts such as making Thanh Tien paper flowers, Hue conical hats, Hue kites, and Phuoc Tich pottery, etc.

Moreover, participants will visit Tu Duc Tomb, one of the most beautiful masterpieces of the Nguyen Dynasty's royal architecture designed by King Tu Duc; Khai Dinh Tomb, a combination of ancient East-West architecture; Vong Canh Hill, a famous spot in Hue beautified with rivers and mountains here. The last destination of the journey is Thuy Xuan incense-making village, a 700-year-old traditional handicraft village under the Nguyen Dynasty.
In six days, students from ASEAN countries will also participate in many interesting activities such as exploring street art at Ngo Mon Square; enjoying the healing power at Alba Thanh Tan Hot Springs; visiting Linh Mu Pagoda, etc. These activities for the participants aim to strengthen their solidarity and friendship as well as help them better understand the lifestyle of local people in Hue Province.

With the theme "A youth-led approach to promoting the cultural heritage", after experiencing Hue cultural heritage, students are expected to respect and preserve Hue heritages in particular and other world heritages in general.
The camp is also a place for young people in ASEAN to strengthen their leadership skills, develop English communication skills, and share cultural characteristics.
