Nguyen Ngoc Hung said that the certificate of merit was awarded on the 20th anniversary of the organization's establishment in Vietnam.

“Currently, very few FNGOs work in reading culture for children. RtR is one of those and is doing a great job. We hope that RtR will continue to work more actively. VUFO and PACCOM always accompany and support RtR so that its operations will be more practical, effective, and successful," said Hung.

Nguyen Dieu Nuong, National Director of RtR Vietnam, said: Up to now, RtR has published about 200 books and built more than 2,000 libraries nationwide. In addition, RtR transferred the model library model including equipment, management system, detailed documents... to localities to spread this model. In the future, RtR Vietnam will continue to further replicate the elementary school-friendly library model. RtR aims to deploy libraries throughout Vietnam, helping every elementary school student have access to a friendly library that is operating effectively to benefit them.

"RtR is building a program to enhance Vietnamese listening and speaking skills for vulnerable, disadvantaged, and more difficult subjects such as ethnic minority students. Hopefully, when implemented in practice, the program will help children have access to better educational conditions," Ms. Nguyen Dieu Nuong added.
