Vietnamese in Korea Host Competitions to Celebrate 30 Years of Diplomacy

The Association of Vietnamese in Korea (AVCK) held a writing competition highlighting the close ties between the two nations to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Along with that, the Vietnamese community in RoK hosts many other contests to educate and strengthen the diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The Association of Vietnamese in Korea (AVCK) hosts a contest called "Writing about diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea" in honor of "Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the beginning of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea."

Liberal subjects centered on the future growth of bilateral ties between Vietnam and Korea as well as the 30-year history of cordial collaboration between the two nations.

Contestants are for individuals or groups who are Vietnamese, Korean, or members of multicultural families living in Korea, or Vietnam, regardless of age.

"VIETNAM IN MY HEART" - Painting contest for Vietnamese Children in Korea to pay tribute to the love of the homeland, Vietnam. Photo: avck.vn

In the meanwhile, the Vietnam Association in Korea under the auspices of the Vietnamese Embassy held a painting contest for children with the theme "VIETNAM IN MY HEART". The drawings are based on the perception of Vietnamese lyrics and poems that probably contain many of the children's sacred feelings for the distant but very close Vietnamese homeland.

Painting submissions will be accepted starting on July 26, 2022, and voting will take place on the Vietnamese Association's Facebook page from July 30 to August 28, 2022. Based on the jury's assessment, the organizers will choose 30 contestants for the final round—two age groups—and the list will be issued on August 29, 2022.
