- Mr. Phan Anh Son, former Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, was appointed Director General of the People’s Aid Coordinating Committee (Paccom);
- Ms. Doan Thuy Ha, staff of the Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, was appointed Deputy Chief of the Representative Office;
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang, staff of the America Department, was appointed Deputy Director General of the America Department.
On behalf of VUFO’s leaders, President Vu Xuan Hong handed the Appointment Decisions to Mr. Phan Anh Son and Mrs Nguyen Thi Thu Giang at VUFO’s headquarters on July 1st.
Present at the event were Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, VUFO’s General Secretary and VUFO’s departmental leaders.
Addressing at the event, Mr. Vu Xuan Hong hoped that the newly-appointed leaders will further make practical contributions to VUFO.
Mr. Phan Anh Son and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang expressed sincere thanks to VUFO’s leaders. Both of them promised to well implement the tasks, and hoped that they would be more supported by VUFO’s leaders and their colleagues.
Earlier, at the “Workshop and Training Course on enhancing competence and operation efficiency in people-to-people diplomacy of the local Unions of Friendship Organizations in the Central and Central Highlands Region” in Da Nang City, President Vu Xuan Hong had handed the Appointment Decision to Ms. Doan Thuy Ha./.
