The trip achieved good results, leaving many impressions, and marking a new step forward in the people-to-people diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Working Program, the Delegation had important meetings and working sessions with many senior leaders of Nepal such as Devi Bandhari - Former President of Nepal, Surenda Pandey - Vice President of the Communist Party of Nepal - Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML), Moti Lal Dugar - Minister of Industry and Commerce of Nepal, advisor to the Prime Minister.

During the meetings, Nepalese leaders expressed their appreciation for the bilateral relationship and appreciated the efforts of the Viet Nam - Nepal Friendship Association in promoting and developing the friendship relations between the two peoples. Surenda Pandey emphasized that Vietnam is a source of inspiration for Nepal in terms of achievements in socio-economic development. The two countries need to strengthen cooperation at all levels, including Party, State and people-to-people diplomacy.

In addition, the delegation had meetings with many other important organizations and individuals in Nepal such as the leaders of the Nepal Peace and Solidarity Council, the Chairman of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Director General of the Nepal Tourism Board and representatives of several businesses operating in the fields of energy, agriculture and tourism. The trip was not only to exchange information, but also to explore and propose, and suggest to Nepalese leaders and businessmen specific cooperation opportunities in many potential fields.
In India, the delegation visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in India and concurrently in Nepal. Dr. Tran Anh Tuan - Head of the delegation expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai and the Embassy staff for their interest and willingness to actively support the Association's activities. He also discussed and announced some key cooperation areas that will be implemented in the coming time between the two countries.
During the working sessions, the delegation of the Viet Nam - Nepal Friendship Association and Nepalese leaders and businessmen discussed the possibilities and feasible trends for cooperation and investment in many fields such as trade, agriculture, energy - hydropower, culture, education, health and tourism... One of the important issues discussed was the opening of a direct flight between Viet Nam and Nepal, creating favorable conditions for promoting tourism, cultural exchange, business, import and export... between the two countries.

Pandey - Vice President of the Communist Party of Nepal - Unified Marxist-Leninist and Bandhari - Former President of Nepal all expressed strong support for these cooperation trends. The Nepalese leaders pledged to promote the Nepalese authorities to pay maximum attention to the realization of these trends. They also emphasized the exchange of high-level delegations and opening of Consulates General towards Embassies in each country.
The visit is not only an opportunity to strengthen the friendship between the two peoples but also opens up prospects for practical cooperation in the future, contributing to building the friendship relations between Viet Nam and Nepal increasingly developing.
