Vietnam continues to engage with the UN on developments in East Sea

(ĐCSVN) Ambassador Le Hoai Trung, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations (UN) has recently met with Jeffrey Feltman, Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs. The meeting forms part of Vietnam’s continuing action to keep the UN informed of developments in the East Sea in relation to China’s illegal placement of the Haiyang Shiyou-981 drilling rig in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and continental shelf.
