The Union of Friendship Organizations of Ca Mau province and the Liaison Committee of Bac Lieu - Ca Mau Fellow Countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City on July 15 held a signing ceremony of an agreement to coordinate the implementation of the "Homeland and hearts" program.
The agreement defines the roles and responsibilities of each party in coordinating the implementation of the campaign to support the construction of rural bridges and houses.

Accordingly, strengthen coordination between the Liaison Committee and the Ca Mau Union of Friendship Organizations in mobilizing funding sources or counterpart funds for programs and projects to build rural bridges and houses for the local needy, sponsored by foreign non-governmental organizations, Vietnamese expatriates abroad, and domestic and foreign volunteer organizations.
Accordingly, the Liaison Committee supports the mobilization of co-sponsoring capital or counterpart capital for programs and projects to build rural bridges and housing for the poor, chaired by the Ca Mau Union of Friendship Organizations.
For the third edition, in 2024, the parties commit to implementing 60 houses sponsored by The Corea Peace 3000, worth a minimum of 50 million VND (USD 1.970) per house. The Ca Mau Friendship Union will raise VND 25 million (USD 985) while the Literature and Arts Club under the Liaison Committee of Bac Lieu - Ca Mau Fellow Countrymen in HCM City mobilize the rest. This program will serve as the basis for application in the following years.
Previously, on July 10, the Ca Mau Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with the Korea-based organization to inaugurate a "Bridge of Hope" in Tan Thanh A hamlet, Ta An Khuong Nam commune, Dam Doi district.
The Provincial Friendship Union has mobilized The Corea Peace 3000 to sponsor the construction of two bridges in Ta An Khuong Nam commune of Dam Doi district.
After construction, the two bridges were completed on schedule. Each bridge is 30 meters long and 2 meters wide, with a total construction investment capital of VND 216 million (USD 8.510).
On the same day, the Ca Mau Friendship Union together with The Corea Peace3000 organized a handover cermony of a charity house, worth VND 55 million (USD 2.160), to Nguyen Thi Ha's family residing in Tan Thuan hamlet, Tan Hung commune, Cai Nuoc district.
This is one of 63 houses sponsored by The Corea Peace 3000 in Ca Mau as a gesture of mutual caring and affection, sharing difficulties with poor households in difficult housing situations in the province.
