The Association continues to improve the quality and effectiveness of peace, solidarity, friendship activities; promotes delegation exchanges; coordinates with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovakia and partners to organize exchange, connection, and investment cooperation activities...
The Association will promote information work, external propaganda, improve the quality of the Association's website content, enrich a number of categories to promote domestic and foreign friends about the country and achievements construction and aspects of people's life of Vietnam - Slovak Republic.
The Association also strengthens relationships with old partners, seeks and builds new relationships in order to establish a network of friends in multiple fields with common concerns and want to contribute to the development of friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Slovakia and Vietnam. Strengthening the Executive Board of the Association in the term of 2023 - 2028; focus on expanding the force, attracting the participation of young people and businesses.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang, Head of the Europe Department, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) shared some suggestions from Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, President of the Vietnamq Union of Friendship Organizations about the Association's working orientation in the future.
According to Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga's suggestion, the Association should proactively propose initiatives, develop programs, and work plans for the entire term with projects to organize people's external activities; take advantage of the strengths and exploit the potentials of the two countries' cooperative relations in various fields.
Consider, approach, exchange and coordinate activities with cultural, educational, economic, scientific, technical organizations, people's associations in Slovakia as well as friendship associations with Vietnam in Europe in order to continue building, consolidating and developing Vietnam's network of international partners and friends; promote the role of Vietnamese in Slovakia in connecting partners and participating in people's exchange activities to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between the people of Slovakia in particular and the people of European countries in general with Vietnam in all fields.
In addition, the Association should focus on external information, applying information technology to more widely inform about Vietnam's foreign policies and achievements, so that friends can understand, support and accompany Vietnam at regional and international forums on issues such as protecting and promoting human rights, sovereignty over borders, territories, seas, and islands...

Chargé d'affaires of the Slovak Republic in Vietnam, Pavol Svetik, said that the people of Slovakia and Vietnam share many characteristics, such as being courteous, hospitable, hardworking, and passionate about freedom. This helps to connect the two peoples, promoting friendly and effective cooperation activities.
Mr. Pavol Svetick believes that the Embassy will continue to expand and deepen cooperation activities between the two countries in business, trade, culture, education, tourism, and so on, with the contribution and cooperation of the Association.
Congress elected a new Executive Board of 58 members. Mr. Le Quang Hung, a former Deputy Minister of Construction, was elected Chairman of the IV Association.
