Vietnamese-French bilingual books for young people should be published
In my opinion, the Soviet Union, France, and China have the most impressive literature legacies. However, young people do not know much about French literature. They may know Pushkin and his works but they know little or nothing about Paul Verlaine. It is necessary to translate famous French literature into young and easy-to-understand Vietnamese so that young people pay more attention to them. Publishing Vietnamese-French bilingual books also help young people to have more materials to learn the French language.
In addition, it is necessary to encourage activities to promote French literature and exchange in French in clubs and groups. To my knowledge, the Vietnam - France Friendship Association in Hai Duong has well-organized many activities to promote the French language.
These days, young people are interested in studying abroad, however, studying abroad in France has not been properly promoted. The association needs to provide young people with useful information about studying in France, especially job opportunities after studying in France.
To attract young people and other groups to participate in the Association's activities, it is necessary to pay attention to communication, so that people know and understand the Association's work, which then draws their attention. Many associations in France are very active in Vietnam, but we have not timely informed about their activities. In addition to traditional forms such as written newspapers, radio, and television, we need specific and practical activities and vivid images on social networks, which is a channel to spread information quickly and timely to the people. Friendship associations have also been established in the two countries, we need to connect the two, spreading each other's activities on social networks and other channels.

The young generation should be educated about Vietnam - France relations
"As bamboos grow old, young shoots spring up." The young generation is an important force to promote the Vietnam-France friendship.
However, the role of young members in the Association is not commensurate with their strengths and potential. In the new term, I think the Association needs to pay attention to attracting young members and training the next generation.
Many young people today have a rich but not deep understanding. We need to help them have a deep awareness of the Vietnam-France friendship relationship to inherit and develop that relationship. This requires a specific plan, roadmap, and gradual implementation.

Young people should be given more opportunities
The attraction to young people must come from the Association's activities. Therefore, the Association should pay attention and create conditions for young people to propose and implement a number of small activities and projects. France impresses the world with its liberal education program, which focuses on exploring and deepening thinking on the basis of diverse facts and cultures in unity. Young people can choose education and culture to conduct exchange activities, connect and share experiences.
The strength of young people when participating in people-to-people exchange activities is their dynamism and quick updating of trends. Therefore, when young people suggest activities, they will attract more of their peers and create better communication.
* On March 17, 2023, in Hanoi, Vietnam - France Friendship and Cooperation Association held the 7th Congress for the 2023-2028 tenure. One of its key tasks in the new term is to develop new units, attracting young people at French language training institutions and businesses that cooperate with France.
