Mihai Condescu said that the traditional and friendly relations between Romania and Vietnam should be nurtured and developed by the results of concrete and practical cooperation activities. The two countries have had good cooperation in politics and diplomacy. Meanwhile, in the field of economy and trade, the achieved results are not commensurate with the potential and stature of the two countries' relations.

According to the President of the Romania - Vietnam Friendship Association "Lotus", Romania has a need to employ about 100,000 foreign workers, including manual workers and experts in the fields of engineering, healthcare, and scientific research. Meanwhile, Vietnamese workers have strengths in their skills and charactiristics. Currently, about 3,500 Vietnamese are working in Romania, mainly in the construction sector.
Ho Quang Loi said that the Vietnam - Romania Friendship Association would inform such contents of Mihai Condescu's exchange to the relevant authorities, proposing to address cooperation on labor in the Vietnam - Romania Joint Committee meetings.
