Over the past five years, the Hanoi Capital High Command has organized 12 delegations with more than 100 officers to visit, work and celebrate the Laos New Year, exchanging officers and mass organizations in Laos; welcoming 14 delegations with over 100 officers of the Vientiane Capital Military Command to celebrate the Tet holiday, exchanging officers, mass organizations and high-ranking cadres in Hanoi.
The two sides also held phone talks to share experience in disease prevention and control, which has helped to foster links between the Hanoi Capital High Command and the Vientiane Capital Military Command, thus contributing to the relations between the two armies and peoples.

Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Sengphet Houngboungnuang highly spoke of achievements and cooperation relationship between the High Commands of Hanoi and Vientiane over the past time.
“The High Commands of Hanoi and Vientiane have helped each other to implement the friendship contents. The two sides have organized many working visits and exchanges. Vietnam has also helped Laos with the budget in building infrastructure and equipment for the Vientiane Capital High Command", the Ambassador said.
