Held within the framework of the program "Peruvian Cuisine Week in Vietnam 2023," the event introduces and promotes Peru's rich and diverse culinary culture to the Vietnamese people.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Ambassador of Peru to Vietnam Kristell Aviles Flores believed that the event would be an opportunity for the Vietnamese people to better understand Peru's cuisine, thereby building a bridge to connect businesses, establishment in the F&B sector to strengthen trade cooperation between the two countries.

At the event, guests experienced the unique flavors of traditional Peruvian cuisine and watched the country's food and cocktail preparation techniques through performances by chef José María Murga Brescia. They enjoyed three famous Peruvian dishes: Ceviche fish salad, Tiradito fish salad, Peruvian mashed potatoes Causa limeña and two traditional drinks, Pisco sour and Chilcano.
Aiming to strengthen the friendship between Peru and Vietnam as the two celebrate 29 years of diplomatic relations, Vietnamese chef Pham Ngoc Dung and Peruvian chef José María Murga Brescia have collaborated to prepare grilled seafood spring rolls with Peruvian sauce that brings together the cuisine of the two countries.

"Peruvian Cuisine Week in Vietnam 2023" officially opened on October 24. From October 26 - 29, guests can experience the rich and attractive flavors of world-famous South American cuisine through special dishes such as Ceviche (Peruvian-style seafood salad), Causa (traditional potato sandwich), Lomo Saltado (stir-fried beef) and many other dishes at Oven D'or restaurant (Sheraton Hanoi).
