General Secretary Doraisamy Raja expressed his delight at the development of the Viet Nam-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
He affirmed that the Communist Party of India would continue to work towards strengthening cooperation between the two countries in multilateral forums and enhancing people-to-people exchanges.
For his part, VUFO President Phan Anh Son stated that Viet Nam and India are long-standing traditional friends. The traditional friendship between the two countries was founded by President Ho Chi Minh and Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and has been diligently nurtured by generations of leaders and the people of both countries.

VUFO and the Viet Nam-India Friendship Association highly value the traditional Viet Nam-India relationship, considering it an invaluable asset for both peoples, added he.
The VUFO President further informed that in the fourth quarter of 2024, VUFO and the Viet Nam-India Friendship Association will organize the 12th Viet Nam-India Friendship Festival in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and several other provinces in Viet Nam.
He cordially invited the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India to return to Viet Nam to attend the event.
