The two sides expressed their pleasure to meet and directly discuss to concretize the contents of the agreement signed between the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The agreement was signed during General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's visit to China (from October 30 to November 1, 2022).
At the meeting, President Nguyen Phuong Nga congratulated the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core, on reaching great achievements, completing the goals of the first 100 years, successfully and comprehensively building a wealthy society, winning the battle against poverty, develop the economy, and control the pandemic. At the same time, she thanked the Chinese Party, Government, and People for helping Vietnam in the fight against COVID-19.
President Nguyen Phuong Nga expressed confidence that the Chinese people would fulfill on time the goals and tasks set out by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and successfully realize the second 100-year goal, to build China into a socialist power that is modern, rich, strong, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful.
Chairman Lin Songtian congratulated Vietnam on its success over COVID-19, rapid economic recovery and development, and attracting much foreign investment. He believes that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people would successfully realize the goals and tasks set out by the 13th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The two sides agreed to cooperate in conducting people-to-people exchanges in accordance with the new situation, actively implementing the signed agreement, contributing to the realization of the agreement of the two countries' senior leaders, and promoting the development of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China and cultivate the traditional friendship between the two peoples.
