Responding to the movement "The whole country for Truong Sa", on April 13, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) mobilized and received a number of essential supplies and items sponsored by the Flamingo Group for soldiers and residents of Truong Sa island.

Attending the reception were Mr. Nguyen Van Doanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations; Leaders of some departments and units of VUFO: the Administrative Office, the Europe Department and the People's Aid Coordinating Committee.

On the side of the Flamingo Group, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Deputy General Director of Flamingo Holding and Chief of the President's Office; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thanh, Head of the Corporate Branding and Communication Department.

Mr. Nguyen Van Doanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, gave a speech.

Mr. Nguyen Van Doanh, speaking at the reception, introduced the delegation to the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations' tasks, functions, and roles as well as preliminary information on the current situation of troops and people on Truong Sa island. "Truong Sa Islands have received great attention from the Party and the State, and the lives of cadres, soldiers and civilians have improved in recent years. However, material shortages are always present on remote islands." - Mr. Nguyen Van Doanh spoke.

Mr. Nguyen Van Doanh welcomed and appreciated Flamingo Group for responding to the "The Whole Country for Truong Sa" movement by taking the time and effort to donate essential supplies and equipment to cadres, soldiers, and people on Truong Sa island. He hoped that VUFO and the corporation would frequently collaborate to have more active activities in the future.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Deputy General Director of Flamingo Holding cum Chief of Office of the President introduced the Group, he said that Flamingo Group's operation motto has always been social work, charity work and social security. Therefore, he thanked VUFO for providing an opportunity for the Group to contribute in a small part to the troops and people of Truong Sa island.

After receiving the presents, The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations will transfer to Truong Sa troops and people on a business trip to Truong Sa in 2023.
