Vice President Xuan affirmed that in recent years, Viet Nam has achieved significant socioeconomic success, including gender equality and empowering women. The role and status of Vietnamese women have been elevated in all areas of social life, particularly in politics and the economy, she continued.
She highlighted that women, as ambassadors of peace and compassion, should be placed at the centre and granted greater authority in efforts to promote dialogue, build trust, and enhance cooperation to create a peaceful, happy, and prosperous world. Viet Nam is committed to continuing to support the development of women, providing opportunities for them to access positive trends of the era and contribute more significantly to the noble goals set by the United Nations, she added.
