A ceremony was held in Long An Province on Sunday to inaugurate the Viet Nam-Japan Friendship House on December 15. Spanning nearly 7,000 sq.m, the project features various functional zones, including a cultural house, restaurants, an exhibition area, and miniature landscapes showcasing the cultural characteristics of both Viet Nam and Japan. At the event, Japanese Consul General in HCM City Ono Masuo highlighted the robust political, economic, and cultural ties between Việt Nam and Japan, noting that Viet Nam was becoming an increasingly significant and equal partner for Japan. The diplomat expressed his hope that the Viet Nam-Japan Friendship House would serve as a hub for cultural exchange between the two nations in the Mekong Delta region and a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
