On October 20, at Tan Thanh Binh 1 Primary School, Mo Cay Bac district, the Ben Tre Youth Union coordinated with Global Vision (South Korea), and Dream School (South Korea) to organize an event summarizing cultural exchange activities with youth, children and build houses for people with difficult circumstances. |
Attending the event were Phan Thanh Tre - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation's Ben Tre chapter, Cho Myung Choel - Director of Global Vision in Vietnam, Honorary Citizen of Dong Khoi, Kim Chulhwan - Representative of Dream School, representatives of local leaders, representatives of departments and unions of Tan Thanh Binh commune; and the Board of Directors of Tan Thanh Binh 1 Primary School.

Through five days of organizing activities, Ben Tre and Korean youngsters have carried out many meaningful projects: providing financial support and labor days to build 4 houses for people with housing difficulties; presenting 20 bicycles to students with outstanding academic performance, sponsoring 200 learning tools to students; organizing cultural and artistic exchange programs between youth of the two countries; organizing foreign language lessons, Taekwondo lessons, instructions on making handicrafts for children with a total value of projects over VND 250 million.

Through the project's activities, students will have the opportunity to access high-quality libraries, improve their knowledge, enhance protection skills, and actively participate in school activities.
This is a series of meaningful activities demonstrating the pure spirit of international solidarity between the young people of Ben Tre and South Korea, deepening the profound friendship between the youth of Vietnam and South Korea.
