Celebrating 91st birthday and 65th reign of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II in Ho Chi Minh city
The celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s 91st birthday and 65th reign was held by Union of Friendship Organizations and the Viet Nam – United Kingdom Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City in June 13.
Speaking at the ceremony, Tran Hung Viet, President of the Viet Nam – United Kingdom Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh city confirmed that bilateral relationship has developed significantly, especially after signing a Viet Nam – United Kingdom strategic partnership agreement in 2010.
The UK is ranking 12th in 86 countries and territories invsting in Ho Chi Minh city and is also a major trading partner with two-way trade tunrover of US$ 826 million in 2016.

In 2016, there were 122,000 British visitors to Ho Chi Minh city, which ranked 11th among countries and territories in the total foreign visitors and 11,000 Vietnamese students in the UK.
