Quang lauded the activities of European businesses in general and the EU-ASEAN Business Council, which he said, have made contributions to Viet Nam's economic growth and comprehensive partnership and cooperation between Viet Nam and the EU.
He highlighted Viet Nam’s efforts to better its institutional and legal framework, with a focus on infrastructure investment, including the construction of highways.
Viet Nam also respects and fulfils its international commitments, prioritises global trends in green and digital economy development, he said.
Rübbert commended Viet Nam's orientations to sustainable economic development and its recent economic successes, recognising it as one of Asia's fastest-growing economies.
He noted the positive impact of the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) on boosting trade between the two sides.
EU-ABC members have a strong confidence and stay ready to invest, do business, and support Viet Nam in various fields, he said, wishing to continue coordinating with Vietnamese ministries, agencies and Government to achieve even more cooperation results in the future.
Discussions between the two sides covered sustainable development policies, tax and customs reforms, and the Vietnamese Government's priorities in green and digital economic development, and the goal of achieving net zero emissions./.
