In 2023 the Viet Nam - Thailand Friendship Association and the Thailand - Viet Nam Friendship Association jointly organized many practical and effective activities such as delegation exchanges, educational cooperation thanks to the support of the Thai Embassy in Vietnam. The host and the guest rejoiced at the success of the 12th rotating meeting between leaders of the two Associations and the second people-to-people friendly exchange in Da Nang in September 2023. There were Vietnamese delegations attending the Vietnam - Thailand Business Forum in May 2023 in Bangkok.
The Viet Nam - Thailand Friendship Association also coordinated with the Thailand - Viet Nam Friendship Association to organize a visit and working visit of the business delegation from Thailand with businesses in Ha Tinh province and coordinated with the Viet Nam - Thailand Friendship Association of Thua Thien Hue for the scientific conference "Strengthening cooperation between Viet Nam - Thailand in the fields of Green economic development, culture and education in the next context."
In the coming time, during the term of Ambassador Urawadee Sriphihiromya, the cooperative relationship between the Viet Nam - Thailand Friendship Association and the Embassy, said the host, will continue to be strengthened, with many more practical activities.

In response, Ambassador Urawadee Sriphihiromya expressed her love for Viet Nam and appreciation for the good development of Viet Nam - Thailand relations and the activities of the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association in recent times. The Ambassador affirmed that she will strive to contribute positively in strengthening the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Thailand, especially in the fields of culture, education, people-to-people exchange, and connecting businesses and localities.
She also aims to build a network of Vietnamese international students who have studied in Thailand through connection and information exchange activities. Creating exchange opportunities for Vietnamese students to learn about Thai businesses is also desirable.
The two sides also discussed a number of people-to-people diplomacy activities in the coming time like hosting the "Meeting with Thailand" Conference in Lao Cai province; joining the Community Ambassador Award of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, promoting the twin sister provinces between Thai Nguyen province (Viet Nam) and Udon Thani province (Thailand), and establishing the Viet Nam - Thailand Friendship Association of Thai Nguyen province.
