At the reception, Tran Dac Loi, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Peace Committee shared information about the global and regional situation; achievements of innovation, economic development, poverty eradication in Viet Nam; and activities of the Vietnam Peace Committee.
Rabindra Adhikari, Chairman of the Nepal Peace and Solidarity Council, highly appreciated the Viet Nam Peace Council's role in participating in and organizing the World Peace Council's activities and programs. The Nepal Peace and Solidarity Council will continue to accompany and support the Vietnamese people in the country's development, especially in supporting victims of Agent Orange.
The two sides agreed to maintain information exchange and cooperation in upcoming activities.

On this occasion, the Viet Nam Peace Committee, and the Asia-Africa Department (under the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations) coordinated with the Nepal Peace and Solidarity Council to organize a meeting between Vietnamese and Napali businesses.

The meeting was attended by representatives of businesses from the two countries in many fields such as export, shoe production, tea, stationery, souvenirs, and scented candles. At the event, Vietnamese businesses introduced their products; and talked about their need to connect and cooperate with Nepali partners.
