Present at the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, member of the Vietnam Communist Party’s Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and VCFA’s Chairman; VCFA’s Vice Chairmen Mr. Bui Hong Phuc and Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Mrs. Tran Thi Xuan Oanh, VCFA’s Secretary General and a number of staff from VUFO and VUFO’s Asia-Africa Department.The Ambassador of China to Vietnam H.E Hong Xiaoyong, his spouse and embassy official also attended the event.
Speaking at the meeting, VCFA’s Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed his delight at enomous achievements obtained by Chinese people and extended best wishes to Ambassador Hong Xiaoyong, and with his conveyance, to the Chinese government and people on the occasion of China’s National Day.
Ambassador Hong Xiaoyong highly appreciated VCFA’s people-to-people activities and promised to promote the two countries’ relations.
