Present at the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Thai Lai, Vice-Minister of Natural Resource and Environment, Chairman of the Vietnam-Belarus Friendship Association (VBFA), Mr. Nguyen Tuan Phong, Vice-Chairman of the Central Commission for External Relations, Vice-Chairman of VBFA, Mr Vu Xuan Ninh, former Ambassador to Belarus, Vice-Chairman of VBFA, Mr Pham Phu Binh, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment, General Secretary of VBFA. H.E Valery Sadokhov, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam also attended the event.
Mr. Nguyen Thai Lai congratulated both the Ministry of Culture of Belarus and Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism for successful co-organization of the Cultural Days of Belarus in Vietnam 2014.
Minister Svetlov expressed his delight to visit Vietnam. He congratulated VBFA for holding the 3rd National Congress recently, which was expected to put more effort on promoting solidarity and friendship for fruitful bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
At the same day, Minister Svetlov and VBFA’s Director Board attended Belarus Film’s Day in Hanoi.
