Attending the meeting were Mr. Don Tuan Phong, VUFO's Vice President; representatives from the Press Department of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Propaganda Department of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education, the Press and Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; VUFO's veteran journalists; and journalists who have greatly contributed to the propagation of VUFO’s activities in people-to-people diplomacy.
Addressing at the meeting, Mr. Don Tuan Phong extended congratulations to the journalists on the occasion of the 88th anniversary of the Vietnam’s Revolutionary Journalism Day, and expressed thanks for the journalists’good collaboration and coordination in the propagation of VUFO’s activities in recent years.
Mr. Nguyen Van Huynh, Mr. Pham Van Chuong and Mr. Ho Anh Dung shared their working experiences in the field of journalism with the journalists at the meeting.
The journalists expressed their sincere thanks to VUFO’s leaders for the meeting. They wished VUFO will organise field trips for the journalists to get full and real information for their writings, and provide more information about VUFO’s activities in people-to-people diplomacy, so that they could be more proactive in reporting.
At the end of the meeting, Mr Don Tuan Phong said he hoped the journalists would continue to have close cooperation with VUFO in the propagation of VUFO’s activities in people-to-people diplomacy.
