At his opening speech, Dr. Chu Duc Tinh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, hightlighted the three important themes of the seminar as: President Ho Chi Minh and Russia, Vietnam-Russia and Russia-Vietnam relations.
The seminar is an opportunity, he added, to review all the documentation on the move of President Ho Chi Minh towards Marxism-Leninnism, the solidarity between the former Soviet Union, now as Russia, and Vietnam.
Russian Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Andrei Grigorivich Kovtun, provided the seminar with information about the fruitful cooperation and comprehensive development between the two countries.
Vietnam - Russia comprehenvise strategic partnership is currently in its positive development stage, broadly covering directions and forms of cooperation, he said, and both sides commit to support each other in all aspects to boost economic and technological development in the future.
On behalf of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, Mr. Dao Trong Thi, President of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association has awarded the medal “For Peace and Friendship among Nations” to Mr. Evghenhi Kobelev Vaxilievich , First Vice-President of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association for his active contributions to the development of friendship relation between the two nations.
