Member of AP’s Board of Directors awarded

(Vietpeace) –Mr. William Hall, member of the Atlantic Philanthropies’ Board of Directors was awarded the Medal “For peace and friendship among nations” at the headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) on July 19th.

At the awarding ceremony, VUFO’s President Mr. Vu Xuan Hong highly appreciated Mr. William Hall’s and AP’s  contributions in the fields of health care and education in Vietnam.

Mr. William Hall said that Vietnam is his second homeland, and the Medal is a great honor for him. He hopes that AP will have more projects in health care and education in Vietnam in the coming years.

In 2006, Mr. William Hall first came to Vietnam to implement the project with the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology (NIHE). He is now promoting the collaboration between the Hanoi Medical University (HMU) and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in medical training.
