Viet Nam Fatherland Front leader receives Russian delegation

On October 1, at a meeting with the delegation of the Russian Federation attending the First Viet Nam-Russia People’s Forum, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee, and President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien stated that the Forum carried profound political and humanitarian significance. He stressed that it marked a new direction in people-to-people diplomacy, contributing to the strengthening of the “people’s front” and deepening the friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
