Introducing the History of Vietnamese Ao Dai to Japanese Friends

On October 19, a "History introductory session" was held at the Ho Chi Minh City office of the Japanese Consulate General. The Ao Dai is now well recognized as a traditional dress and a distinctive aspect of Vietnamese culture. The 50th anniversary of the beginning of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Japan occurs in 2023.
