The report on VPFA’s operation in 2008-2013 tenure and orientations for the new five-year tenure were reported by VPFA Chairman Pham Khoi Nguyen.
Under the motto “Proactive, flexible, creative and effective”, VPFA made big efforts in its operation, and contributed to strengthening friendship and cooperation relations between Vietnamese and Polish people. VPFA has also built good ties with the Polish Embassy in Hanoi, the Vietnamese Society in Poland and other associations.
The Convention elected a new 48-member Executive Board, and Mr Pham Khoi Nguyen was re-elected Chairman for the 2013-2018 tenure.
Addresing the event, VUFO President Vu Xuan Hong praised VPFA for its achievements and contributions to promoting friendship and cooperation ties between Vietnamese and Polish people.

Chargé d'affaires a.i. Jacek Kasprzyk spoke highly of the VPFA’s efforts in its previous ternue and congratulated the VPFA’s new Executive Board. He also expected VPFA strengthens its ties with the Polish Embassy in Hanoi in organising friendship activities and contributing to good implementation of the bilateral cooperation program .
On behalf of VUFO, Mr Hong presented VPFA the laudatory writing “The Vietnam – Poland Frienship Association with excellent achievements in people-to-people diplomacy in the 2008-2013 tenure”, and Certificates of Merits to 10 individuals and 6 groups in recognition of their significant contributions to VPFA’s development./.
