The Convention saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van My, Deputy General Secretary, Head of Asia – Africa Department of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations; Mr. Nguyen Van Linh, member of the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Party Committee, Executive Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang People’s Committee; Mr. Ngo Sach Thuc, member of the Bac Giang Party Committee, Chairman of the Bac Giang Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Bac Giang Union of Friendship Organizations and over 100 delegates.
VSKFA of Bac Giang is a member organization of the Vietnam – South Korea Friendship Association and the 7th member of the Bac Giang Union of Friendship Organizations.
VSKFA of Bac Giang is a social organization at provincial level with a view to strengthening friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the Bac Giang people and the people of South Korea, contributing to the consolidation and development of relations between Vietnam and South Korea.
VSKFA of Bac Giang serves as a bridge connecting socio – political organizations, businesses and people of the two countries, promoting friendship and cooperation ties in the fields of politics, economics, culture, society, science, technology, education, tourism, environment and humanitarian aid.
The Convention dicussed and adopted the Regulations and the Action Plan for the first tenure; elected an 11 - member Executive Board. Mr. Trinh Huu Thang, Director of the Planing and Investment Department of Bac Giang Province was elected Chairman.
