VUFO extends condolences to Azerbaijan over plane crash

The Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and Viet Nam - Azerbaijan Friendship Association came to the Azerbaijani embassy in Hanoi to lay wreaths and sign the condolence book, offering condolences to Azerbaijan over an air crash that killed 38 people

Vice President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Nguyen Ngoc Hung on December 27 afternoon visited at the Azerbaijani embassy in Hanoi and offered condolences following the Azerbaijani plane crash in Kazakhstan.

On behalf of the VUFO, Vice President Nguyen Ngoc Hung sincerely expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the governments and people of Azerbaijan and to the families of the victims of the plane crash near the Kazakh city of Aktau.

He affirmed that the VUFO's solidarity with Azerbaijani people during this difficult time, and believes that under the leadership of the Government of Azerbaijan, the families of the victims and its people will soon overcome this grief.

On the morning of December 27, a delegation of the Viet Nam - Azerbaijan Friendship Association, led by its President Dang The Vinh, also visited the embassy of Azerbaijan to sign the condolence book, conveying their most sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and wishing those injured a swift recovery.

A delegation of the Vietnam - Azerbaijan Friendship Association expresses "heartfelt condolences" to all victims of the crash accident and extends sympathy and solicitude to their family members.

At least 38 people were killed as an Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) flight traveling from the country's capital Baku to Russia crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau on December 25. Thirty-two of the people on board survived the crash. Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree declaring a day of mourning across the country on December 26.
