Aid will focus on rebuilding homes, and schools, providing clean water, and improving livelihoods for local residents.

As of September 18th, 46 foreign NGOs have responded to the call of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, pledging support for emergency relief programs worth over VND49 billion (approximately US$2 million).

The Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations continues to mobilize an additional 60 foreign NGOs to assist people in recovering from the disaster.
