Viet Nam-Saudi Arabia People-to-People Exchanges and Cooperation Hold Significant Potential for Growth

On December 24 in Hanoi, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Phan Anh Son received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Viet Nam Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy, on a farewell courtesy visit upon the conclusion of his term of office in Viet Nam.

At the meeting, President Phan Anh Son expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy’s goodwill and dedication to promoting Viet Nam-Saudi Arabia diplomatic relations in general, and to strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the peoples of the two countries in particular.

According to Phan Anh Son, cooperation potential between Viet Nam and Saudi Arabia is not limited to economic, trade, and investment fields, but also extends to areas such as fostering connections between localities of the two countries and enhancing relations between Viet Nam’s people’s organizations and Saudi Arabia’s social organizations.

Ambassador Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy thanked the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations for its close and effective coordination with the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Viet Nam over the past period. The Ambassador affirmed that, in his new position, he will continue to contribute to promoting friendly relations between Viet Nam and Saudi Arabia, while also advancing coordination between the Embassy and relevant Saudi Arabian agencies and the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations.
