In his speech, To Huy Rua highly appreciated the initiative of the Vietnam Association to organize the event. This is a good opportunity for young people of the two countries to immerse themselves in the exchange activities, to learn more about the culture and people of each country.
According to To Huy Rua, cultural cooperation, education and people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and Japan are deep and effective. Cultural exchange activities are held regularly to attract the attention of the people of the two countries and have strong communication effects. Through these activities, the image of the country, people, and culture of Vietnam is brought closer to the Japanese people. At the same time, the beauties of Japan are welcomed and passionately learned by Vietnamese people. The education exchange of the two countries' young generations is enhanced. Japan grants scholarships and invites many outstanding Vietnamese youths to study and exchange in Japan every year.
He said that young people will continue to build solid bridges for the inheritance and promotion of the close friendship between Vietnam and Japan in the future.

Yamanaka recalls the close friendship between revolutionist Phan Boi Chau and doctor Asaba Sakitaro and the Dong Du movement formed 118 years ago. By 1908, about 200 Vietnamese students had come to Japan. More than 100 years later, this number has grown to 70,000.
The President of the Vietnam Association said that the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations is an opportunity for the two countries to enter the era of real youth exchange. This meeting is the beginning of that process. The public and private sectors are also working together to improve the system, making Japan a safe place for foreigners to study, live and work.
