One of the main activities of the delegation was to meet with its partners in RoK such as the Korea-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Korea-Vietnam Economic and Cultural Association. The delegates also met with the Chairman of the Ly Hoa Son Family Association in Korea (also known as the family of Korean descendants of the Vietnamese royal family).

Another highlight of the trip was working with the representatives from Sangmyung University (Seoul). There are exchange sessions with Korean businesses in the fields of food and textiles.

These companies are interested in Vietnam's market so the two sides discussed the potential business opportunities and how they contribute to strengthening people-to-people ties between Vietnam and RoK.

In particular, the delegation of the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association shared with the host about the economic and social development of Vietnam. They also introduced the activities of the Association. In response, the host congratulated Vietnam on its Independence Day and on its historical achievements in building and developing the country. Both sides agreed to further cooperate in bridging the fields of education, culture, healthcare, as well as communication, and human resource training.

Additionally, the Ambassador of Vietnam to Korea Nguyen Vu Tung held a reception for the delegation at the Embassy of Vietnam in RoK. Tung hoped that the Association continue to promote its role in people-to-people diplomacy to help strengthen the friendship and close bond between the two peoples.
