Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga's contribution to equality And development of Vietnamese women

Speaking at the ceremony, Ha Thi Nga, president of the Vietnam Women's Union appreciated the efforts of Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga in the development of Vietnamese women for gender equality, in various positions such as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations.

During her work, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga always participated in and supported programs and policies of the Vietnam Women's Union.

She based on emulation movements and key tasks of the Union to concretize them into practical and appropriate activities to promote the development of women.

At the agencies and units where Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga works, as a female leader, she is always interested in improving the role of women, gender equality, focusing on training and fostering cadres, including female cadres.

Ha Thi Nga, president of the Vietnam Women's Union hopes that in the coming time, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga will continue to support and accompany the Union and Vietnamese women, including activities with international partners to promote gender equality, for the advancement of women.

Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga expressed her honor to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Women's Union.

She said she always strives for the cause of gender equality and development of Vietnamese women, even though she does not participate in the Executive Committee and organizations of the Vietnam Women's Union.

The Ambassador will continue to contribute to gender equality work, especially in the field of training.

* On the same day, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Nguyen Phuong Nga had a meeting with Vu Viet Trang, general director of the Vietnam News Agency.

At the meeting, Vu Viet Trang gave Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga a photo book "Diplomat Nguyen Phuong Nga - A Journey to Shine Vietnamese Wisdom and Bravery."

The photo book gathers more than 190 activities of Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga in the positions of Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister, Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, and President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations.

In these positions, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga contributed to the cause of building Vietnam's diplomacy in a comprehensive, modern, and proactive manner.
