There were the Vice President of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organization, Bach Ngoc Chien, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Vietnam Ory Csaba; officials of the Hungarian Embassy; members of the Vietnam - Hungary Friendship Association and Vietnamese friends and Hungarian friends.
The President of Vietnam - Hungary Friendship Association Nguyen Dang Vang said: "In recent years, the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary have been constantly expanding and developing strongly in many fields".
Vang hoped that the Vietnam - Hungary Friendship Association and vice versa, as well as the relationship between the two countries, will increasingly develop with the efforts of the Government and people of the two countries, bringing about great achievements for the two peoples and peace, stability, and development of the region and the world.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Vietnam Ory Csaba said the cooperation between the two countries are proved by impressive figures on many spheres.
In particular, by 2020, there will be 70 special programs celebrating the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations between two countries (1950-2020). The year 2020 will also mark the launch of the Hungarian Center for Culture and Community in Hanoi - strong progress in cultural, economic, tourism and culinary cooperation between the two countries.
