On April 2 in Hanoi, a delegation from the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship Association, led by Nguyen Xuan Thanh, former Deputy Head of the Government Office and Vice President of the Association, visited the Embassy of Laos in Viet Nam to extend their congratulations on the occasion of Laos’ Bunpimay traditional New Year 2025 (Buddhist calendar 2568).
Vice President of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship Association Nguyen Xuan Thanh presented flowers and extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Viet Nam Khamphao Ernthavanh. He also conveyed his best wishes to the embassy staff and the people of Laos, hoping they enjoy a warm and joyous Bunpimay celebration.

The ambassador highly appreciated the meaningful and effective activities carried out by the friendship associations of the two countries in recent times.
