Eva Luong from Canada is currently studying for a Master's degree in Banking, Finance and Financial Technology at the International Institute of Francophonie (IFI), Hanoi National University.
“When I was studying in Singapore, I was very interested in the Financial Technology major. When I Googled to find out which school was the best fit, I found the Francophonie International Institute with a schedule that suited my schedule. I have studied in Vietnam for more than 1 month now but still quite surprised, this is a quite new experience. I have had to deal with “culture shocks” but those are interesting things and I cherish every moment,” Eva Luong shared.
Because students are self-sufficient, students from Canada have to pay their own tuition fees at IFI, but in return they also receive an internship salary at IFI about 1500 USD/month. With Eva Luong, this cost is quite good to pursue a master's degree. Learning is also basically convenient because Eva Luong can absorb a lot of knowledge when taught by Vietnamese and French teachers.
“I got to learn new things from both cultures, which made me feel like I was 'doubled in knowledge'. What I like most is getting to know my classmates and teachers who have in-depth knowledge in teaching. They have traveled to many countries around the world and know how to give lectures in the best way” – IFI students share.
