He also marveled at the achievements made by ODA projects from Japan to Da Nang City. They actively contribute to promoting socio-economic development in Vietnam through technology transfer, human resource training and product diversification. On the other hand, there is an increasing number of Japanese tourists and investors in Vietnam. In particular, Japanese businesses invest in accommodation in Da Nang, with projects facilities such as Blossom City Hotel, Mikazuki Japanese Resort and Spa.
The Japanese special advisor hoped that in the coming time, with the support from Da Nang City People's Committee, Vietnam and Japan would strengthen investment promotion activities. In Da Nang City, there is much potential for cooperation in the field of trade and tourism, as well as promoting training of quality human resources through cooperation between universities in Da Nang and Vietnam - Japan University.
In response, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh suggested the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Tourism of Da Nang to connect with the department of tourism and hospitality in University of Economics (Danang University) and Dong A University to organize an exchange event. The goals are to host a seminar on developing high-quality human resources in tourism and to cooperate in training, exchanging and working interns in Japan.
The host also asked for his support as a bridge to strengthen coordination with Da Nang City and the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of Danang City to organize cultural and people-to-people exchange activities with Japanese localities.
