Proud footsteps of the participants wearing traditional attire to iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, London Eye. It created a unique scene between tradition and modernity, between East Asia and Europe.

Every embroidery, every pattern, every color on the attire is a "living proof" of a culture rich in identity. The clothes not only revive the memory of the homeland, but also bring a source of pride to the participants.

"Today, when I wear Ao Dai with a red color with a gold star and stand in front of Trafalgar Square to take pictures with the Vietnamese community, it is a moment I am very proud and touched!", participant Hoa Mai shared.

Jennifer Tran, who lives in London, emotionally shared how proud she is to be born “a red-blooded and yellow-skinned child”.

“It was a joy to be able to wear the attire of our fathers. Vietnamese traditional attire is not only a costume, but also a culture, a line that connects us to our roots. These moments will always stay in my heart!”, said Jennifer.

Not only the Vietnamese community but also British people and international tourists enjoyed and were curious about that program. They expressed their admiration and took a group photo. It is a clear demonstration of the attraction of Vietnamese culture in the hearts of international friends.

This event is part of a series of activities, "Viet Traditional Attires Walk" in the UK in 2025, which is held periodically to promote Vietnamese cultural values to the world.

Previously, in April 2025, the program opened in St Paul's, London, where Viet traditional attire left a strong impression on the hearts of the community and the media.

In September 2025, the program will continue to take place at two iconic locations: Battersea Power Station, a complex of creative, artistic, and modern business spaces that preserve the past and connections; The Palace of Westminster, the political heart of England, where the participants will once again show the national pride and the brave integration of the Vietnamese community.

"We were touched to see generations wearing traditional clothes, showing Vietnamese identity in the center of London. The love for the homeland has never faded, but also grows over the years in the country," said Hoang Ha, Head of the Organizing Committee.

For the organizers, the success of the event came from not only the number of participants but also from the bright eyes, happy smiles, and cross-generational soul connection that Vietnamese traditional attire has brought. It is an example Vietnamese people always preserve and spread national cultural values, and at the same time confidently integrate and contribute to the local society wherever they are.
