Ms P.E. Franklin, usually known and called as “Sister Trish”, touchingly said: “Vietnam’s always in my heart” when receiving the Friendship Medal.
“Working for Loreto is not a job, it’s my life for Vietnamese children”, she shared.
In the ceremony, Australian Consul General to Vietnam John McAnulty, National Executive Director of AusCham Phil John and representatives of HUFO were also present.
Also at the ceremony, Mr John McAnulty said Ms. Franklin is “a legend, an angel, a truthful friend of Vietnamese children and a friendship bridge connecting Australian and Vietnamese people”./.
